Studying at Leith School of Art in Edinburgh, she was awarded a distinction and went on to complete a Fine Art course in Dundee, Duncan of Jordanstone. She also lived as an apprentice painter to the London based artist Rosa Branson. She now lives in Wiltshire with her husband and two daughters. Drawing and painting from observation is how Jude prefers to work, taking joy in working with oil paint.
